Krill

krill are very small
you'd think a whale's staple food
would be much bigger

NO!!! People do not eat krill! Fair enough, K is a more difficult letter, but you could have skipped it rather than choosing something obviously unsuitable! Very disappointing!!

I was inconsolably upset over this comment (and mark). Mum agreed it was totally unreasonable - it was actually an awesome haiku, but noooo, teacher was obsessed with my failure to adhere to criteria I had not been aware of. Totally unfair. :(
